BLOWER DOOR TESTING ($275 - $450)

A blower door test is required for new homes and home additions to meet the Michigan Energy Code that has been in effect since 2016. The test measures the air tightness / leakiness of the home to assure it is significantly tighter and more energy efficient than older, leakier homes. Contact EverGreen if you are a new home builder or home buyer BEFORE it is too late to help assure that the home will pass the test. The cost of a new home can go up substantially if the home fails the test. Air sealing in the right places is essential.
